I love it! – I think it would be great for many of our kids.
~Maria Brickley, Howard County School Psychologist
…Building a child’s self esteem protects them from the many disappointments and hurts that they will face as they grow to adulthood. This program is both engaging for children and easy for parents to use. The concepts build upon one another naturally and the program includes an important section on how anxiety affects self esteem. Smashing ANTs is an invaluable investment – not only in a parent’s relationship with her child, but in a child’s relationship with herself.
~Maggie Kelly, Elementary School Guidance Counselor
Parents
It has been such a pleasure to have the opportunity of working as your classroom assistant and witnessing you put the rules, fun activity and kids empowerment all together. My son, Ethan loves your program, he said that he wanted to attend “smashing ants” every evening .
~ Centennial Lane ES Parent
Your programs have really made a difference in our lives. We use your techniques daily… Kids need to specifically address these skills. I wish classes like this had been available when I was growing up! I would have saved a fortune on therapy as an adult!! Thanks again Nancy!
~All the best, Carol R.
Fabulous concept that should be taught to as many kids as possible
Brian remembered to use the Can It ANT Smasher the other day.
Brian was really sad the program was over.
~Adrienne, Elkridge Elementary School Parent
It’s a great confidence builder. I can definitely tell a difference in his behavior at home. Just this morning before school Calvin got nervous about his presentation today, but he mentioned that all had to do was take the T out of CANT! Would like the program to be longer. When he comes home after this program he is more polite towards his mom and brother.
~Ms. Kim, Waterloo Parent
Excellent – The Smashing ANTs program teaches skills that kids will use throughout life. It will give the kids a better quality of life if they apply the skills. My daughter behaves well anyway, but I’m hoping the change is in her head – that she has the basic tools and confidence to build on as she grows up.
I would not change a thing. Nice job 🙂

It is lots of fun and it’s very easy to make friends. I wish I could sign up again! I used to complain that I couldn’t do something in PE but now I feel confident because of the help.
~Centennial Lane ES Student
I found learning about the Fear ANT most helpful. It taught me how to make life more fun. It worked! I once tried the ANT Smasher and I totally forgot what my ANT even was about!
My teacher is very nice! It usually helps when the teacher is nice. It made the learning much easier.
~Talbott Springs ES Student
I think it was a fun way to gain courage. I used to be scared very easily. Now I am very strong in my mind.
~Pointers Run ES Student
I learned a lot about controlling my thoughts and making them positive. The most helpful thing I learned was Smashing ANTs to make thinking and learning more fun. I think of my teacher as cool, nice and really funny and has a good sense of humor. The sense of humor helped me because I like to joke around.
~Dayton Oaks ES Student
I think this program is very helpful program to people who can not control their temper like when I yell at my sister for going into my room because I don’t like my sis touching my stuff. The most helpful thing I learned was to control my own temper by turning can’t into can and giving myself the T for Toughness. I use to yell, scream, and throw things at people when I was mad. Now I talk it out.
~Pointers Run ES Student
I liked doing the skit because it was fun to actually do it and experience seeing someone smash an ANT or actually smash it yourself.
I used to say negative things and feel lousy a lot. Now I have positive thoughts and I’m always happy and not lousy.
~Centennial Lane ES Student

I liked all the games because they were sometimes difficult and I liked the movies because they were funny. I used to get angry easily and go crazy. Now I sometimes think about what I’m doing. This helps me stop fights. I think the teacher is funny and has a lot of interesting activities. She reminds me of my mom.
